2024 Chevy Silverado EV undergoing testing as production nears

www.autofun.co.th --The new EV pickup has been tested at GM's Milford Proving Grounds in Michigan. Deliveries of the new truck are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2023. While the initial photos of the Chevrolet 2024 Silverado EV show the truck in the form of a striking shiny blue shade of top trim, we now have a more cursory look at the upcoming electric pickup. GM has released photos of a test engineering prototype of the new electric vehicle at the company's Milford Proving Grounds. Chief executive Mary Barra said the prototype will begin testing on public roads around Michigan next month.

The Silverado EV seen here has a black, unpainted body, smaller wheels and tires, and various unfinished parts such as headlights, taillights and fender surrounds, suggesting it is a test mule.
 
The new truck will be available in 2024 Chevrolet Silverado , with first deliveries said to start in autumn 2023. the Silverado EV uses GM's Ultium battery platform and is expected to have a range of up to 400 miles. The Silverado's most direct competitor, the Ford F-150 Lighting, currently offers a maximum EPA-rated range of 320 miles.
 
Chevrolet also says the full-size pickup will offer a towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. Base WT trim on the electric Silverado is expected to start at around $42,000, while top-of-the-line RST trim starts at around $107,000. In comparison, the Lightning starts at $41,769 for the base and $92,669 for the top trim.
